Spring updates March 22nd 2012 Things have gone crazy for the lovely Mr Gomm since his video went viral, he's scoring movie soundtracks, performing with rock stars and touring most of the world all of a sudden, wonderful to see a long striving indie break through. Burning Shapes are still at the graft and have just released double A sided single Silence Amplified and Someone Else's Words accompanies by a Coffee Films music video, the album is due around summer. Coffee Films are getting set for the release of feature length music documentary The Death and Resurrection Show about Killing Joke in late summer, expect it at cinemas nationwide soon, and thin remain busy for the Scottish Wildcat Association with their groundbreaking Wildcat Haven project which will be seeing a lot more media over the coming year.
We always knew he was the best guitarist in the world, this week everyone else caught on too; BBC interviews? Check! Tweets from Stephen Fry? Check! 1 million YouTube hits? Check! And it couldn't happen to a nicer guy, well done dude x
It's a whole new year, and maybe the end of the world to look forward to at the far end as well... Things are looking hyper busy this year for Burning Shapes (album out around March along with a small UK launch tour), Coffee Films (the feature length documentary on Killing Joke is out around April) and Jon Gomm (who is just playing everywhere, all the time). We'll keep you updated as the year gets moving.
