Coffee Artists Americana singer/songwriter Bill Kelly has hit the road this week with blues singer/songwriter Michael Parrish in their hillbilly duo alter-ego duo Folkfoot. Fresh from recording the title track from Morgan Spurlock's latest film Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden the two are touring the UK for the first time as Folkfoot introducing their unique combination of Americana, Hillbilly, Rock, Blues and Country. Annie Minogue Band Irish album release

Coffee Artists announce new live music night in association with Pizza Express

Coffee Artists have confirmed their own live music night Coffee Artists Presents, to be held at the Pizza Express Music Room in the company's hometown of Maidstone April 11th.

The night will feature two of the agency's latest signings, two British acts that have already been championed variously by BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris, Lynn Parsons and Jeremy Vine and Xfm's Nick Luscombe. Singer/songwriter Rebecca Worthley will perform an acoustic set, and Kent's own chilled acoustic/ambient band Sound Sanctuary will be performing full band.

Both artists have highly anticipated new albums out later this year with full UK tours so this is a great opportunity to catch two rising talents early.

Coffee Films wildcats DVD confirmed for summer release in UK Telegraph

In a feature article in todays UK broadsheet newspaper The Telegraph, Last of the Scottish Wildcats director/producer Steve Piper confirms a summer release date for the much anticipated Coffee Films DVD. Trailers for the film are now running on Telegraph TV, Myspace, You Tube, Metacafe and Dailymotion and we can confirm the initial release will include a free giveaway of several hundred copies to Scottish schools and libraries, whilst the whole DVD will donate a profit share to the Scottish Wildcat Association.

Kent based recent signings to Coffee Artists Sound Sanctuary are about to kick off their debut UK south mini-tour with a mission to chill audiences further than they believed possible. Picking up shout outs from XFM and BBC Radio 2 with comparisons as varied as Simon and Garfunkel to Zero 7 these guys go beyond something special live and can be caught between the 8th and 17th of February 2008.

Bill Kelly track confirmed as theme for new Morgan Spurlock feature

Americana singer/songwriter Bill Kelly has had his song Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden confirmed as the title track for Morgan Spurlock's latest feature film of the same name, launching at the Sundance Film Festival later this week. The song, recorded with Michael Parrish as the occasional duo Folkfoot, follows an appearance on the Supersize Me soundtrack with It Must Stink to be Pink.

The duo will be touring the UK from 25th April to 4th May 2008 and are booking publicity interviews now, full tour line up at the Coffee Artists Myspace.

Annie Minogue Irish album and single release dates confirmed

Coffee Artists New York rock chick Annie Minogue has confirmed release dates for the album Tripping The Velvet and single Love Goes Down (part deux) through Urban Angel Records in Northern Ireland; both will go on general release on 29th February 2008. Annie has long been an outstanding independent act on the US scene supporting artists like Dave Lee Roth and Poison, scooping a chest full of songwriting awards and receiving regular playouts through MTV and series like Dawson's Creek.

Coffee Films confirm Last of the Scottish Wildcats DVD release

British independent film production company Coffee Films have confirmed that their wildlife / current affairs documentary Last of the Scottish Wildcats will be released on DVD later this year to coincide with the official launch of The Scottish Wildcat Association, a new charity set up to help conserve the species; a share of profits has been promised to the charity.

Alexis Georgoulis wraps feature film with Dreyfuss, Vardalos, Petrie and Hanks

Coffee Artists film and television actor Alexis Georgoulis has just wrapped shooting the feature film My Life In Ruins. Based in his native Greece the film has been produced by Tom Hanks, directed by Donald Petrie and stars Richard Dreyfuss and Nia Vardalos (who also co-wrote the script) the film promises to be a successful follow up to Vardalos' smash My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Alexis' true introduction to the international market.
